Research into album release posters.

I looked into already existing adverts for albums releases and looked at the typical things that would appear on the advert so I could make my advert as similar to a real media product as possible. Here I looked at how they used the album artwork on the advert and how it actually featured the album's main image on here. It also used the same fonts and colours as the album to create a strong link between this poster and the album itself, in order to make the advertisements actually work. Looking at their new album and the video for their new single itself you can see they've created a strong link between the three in order for the audience to create a link between the three, and for the advisements (video and advert) for the album actually work in getting people to buy the product (the album). This is what I'm aiming to do with my poster and digipak too.
