Resolutions 6 Feet Tall – ATOMSPLIT
Lyrics
I’ve got a list of revolutions that is six feet long.
I’ve got a few life complications that might have done me wrong-o-oo-o.
(Guitar)
Quit smokin’
Quit drinkin’
Quit whinin’
Stop thinkin’ too much
Start lovin’
Quit hatin’
Stop boozing’
And start playing along.
(guitar)
Start playing along
I’ve got a list of revolutions that is six feet long
I’ve got a few life complications that might have done me wrong-o-oo-o-o.
(Guitar)
Start savin’
Start lending a hand
Stop spending too much
Travel Europe
Go to the mountains
Go to the beach and get some su-u-un
(Guitar)
(Oh yeah!) – girl singer
Go to the beach and get some sun-u-un
I’ve got a list of revolutions that is six feet long.
I’ve got a few life complications that might have done me wrong-o-oo-o.
I’ve got a list of revolutions to start workin’ on.
Goodbye to all my old conditions that might have done me wrong-o-oo-o.
(Guitar)
Be patient
Be courageous
Wear a smile for everyone
Open up more
Make out with you more, hold your hand more and whisk you far away.
(Guitar)
And tell you that I love you each and every day
I’ve got a list of revolutions that is six feet long.
I’ve got a few life complications that might have done me wrong
I’ve got a list of revolutions to start workin’ on.
Goodbye to all my old conditions that might have done me wrong-o-oo-o.
(Done me wrong-o-oo-o.) – girl singer
I’ve got a list of revolutions
I’ve got a list of revolutions to start workin’ o-ooon.
Treatment.

Production ideas: I plan on making a video that is hand drawn and slightly different to the usual music videos you see on the music channels. I thought the idea of hand drawn would go really well with this band because they have a comic that is linked to their band, so I thought it would suit their fans if the music video was hand drawn. I will make a character out of cardboard and make it so I can move him in order to make him act out the music video. I will record green screen footage of a friend miming the words so that I can edit their head onto the character to give it a humorous element that I like in music videos. I'll edit this so it fits with the stlye of the animation of the character. The idea behind the music video is that he will visually demonstrate the lyrics of the song and this will give the music video an implied narrative, similar to the stlye of Marcos Siega who I looked at in my director case study below.
Production equipment: Camera, tripod (could use my own) hand drawn sets/backdrops, hand drawn lead singer/ band members, blue screen of friend(s)
Stylistic influences: I want to do animation like the music videos for It Had To Be You - Motion City Soundtrack and Jack Peñate - Torn On The Platform because I think they create a music video which is a little different from the conventional and make it more artistic than just selling the artist. I want to go a hand drawn video but with blue screen for the singers head because I think this is really effective in these two videos.
